Being an athlete herself, Janelle Guyot is well aware of the healing benefits of massage therapy. Having competed in cyclocross, mountain bike events, marathon swimming, iron-distance triathlon and ultra-distance trail running, she brings that perspective into her work. No longer is massage left to luxury spas and upscale health clubs. Today you will find massage therapy offered on business campuses, hospitals, long term care facilities and often in many airports around the country.
As a licensed massage therapist, Janelle understands both ends of the massage therapy spectrum. On one end the physical needs of an athlete, on the opposite end the relief from stress that a massage can bring offering pure relaxation. Her education, knowledge, and experience with the treatment of basic athletic injuries aid her in the evaluation and treatment of her clients.
Having received her massage therapy certification from the nationally acclaimed Bancroft School of Massage Therapy, she felt driven to become a massage therapist because it brought together her passion for both wellness and athletics. Janelle finds working one-on-one with each client very fulfilling and rewarding. She has a kind-hearted nature and is passionate about helping her clients relax, heal, and experience improvements in their athletic performance and recovery.
Her areas of expertise are:
- Sports Massage
- Therapeutic Massage
- Regional Massage

- Trigger Point Therapy
- Swedish Massage
- Deep Tissue Massage
“Typically I like to use a variety of these modalities in each session, depending on how they are best suited to the individual client's needs and treatment goals. Before I start, it’s important to discuss with each client their individual goal which might be strictly physical, or a combination of physical, stress relief and relaxation.”
